What beautiful scenery! So quiet, peaceful and yes, ripe for meditation. My bath has no window and although my kitchen window used to look out on farmland when we bought our home, we now have a fairly busy through street. I guess it's progress but I preferred the farmland. We'd even see foxes, opossum, deer and coyotes in our yard.
Now the only 'wild' animals we might see are the occasional feral cat that lives in the storm sewers. Or maybe the red-tailed hawk that soars overhead. Farmland isn't too far away, along with a huge golf course. But I liked it better when the open land was 1/2 a block away, instead of a mile.
