Dresdan heart pattern

I have been very patient about this BUT really people come on!  I posted a picture of my dresdan heart block I was putting together.  I basically am done, it is all hand sewn.  Problem, I had to remove that picture and post because of stealing!  Suddenly it is on pinterest  who gave those people the right to steal my picture?!  I was not given credit...then I found the same picture of my dresdan heart block on a quilt site.  That person will not remove the picture she stole, so everyone is stealing my picture and posting on their stupid have nothing better to do pinterest!  Yep, I'm mad!

This is what I have been doing

I have a gimp left arm, so the painting has been triple time!  Something that would take me two days has turned into three weeks!  I still need to repaint the pocket doors and the middle of fireplace.  We finally broke down and bought a NEW sofa and recliner (that was for the dawling, the chair thing).  It is all recycled leather, with all material "green" as to limit our carbon footprint...yes we are that family!  It cost more, but all of it has been made in the U. S. of A. !  As you will see I have not finished the library table...putting my lemon oil on it.  I think everything goes with the antiques too.  I have also included a picture of the coffee table I am getting made...we won't get for another 6 to 8 weeks.  You will see the rugs I hooked. The blankets on the table.... that table is being put in the foyer.  I am going to paint that area next....starting next month...maybe???....All the paint, is of course Benjamin Moore.  I did change the living room to a slightly darker color of yellow.  All still "hysterical" paint colors. Now ta da..........

suprise

We got another puppy!  It's a pound pup, we have had our sweet Max for two weeks and he is wonderful!  He is only 12 pounds of sweetness and is 7 months old.  I don't know much other than he was saved from a kill facility by a wonderful rescue.  When I called her she showed me pictures and boom, we were in.  He has tons of Jack russel and wire haired terrier in him.  He was abused so is scared of my two older sons and strangers.  Slowly he is coming around, with lots of kisses and hugs.  My Golden and cardigan have taken to him quite fine, we were nervous about that but no worries!  He and my son #4 are like glue.  Now for the pictures....

My son with Aspergers is depressed
and rightly so
the nut jobs are posting such miserable stuff 
he takes it all in, he shows me what reporters and others are writing....
just because you have aspergers does not mean you will kill .... so MANY other factors come into play! Go here

 

Painting

Yes, I am painting my bathroom upstairs.  Same colors, changed over light fixture above mirror, etc......will show update on the side bar .....where it says click here to view money pit.  Don't look until next week........love that Benjamin Moore paint!
